This micro-podcast is a tender offshoot of Soul Care with Angie Fadel. I created this space to share the small but mighty sources of resilience keeping my spirit alive in these challenging times.
In a world overwhelmed by collective trauma—where pain runs deep, misinformation thrives, rights are threatened, genocide continues, and problems demand systemic solutions—I'm still just one person. How do I remain standing? How do I keep moving forward, watching out for my neighbors, practicing generosity, embracing inclusion, and opposing systems of oppression without collapsing under the weight?
My answer lies in reconnection: with nature's profound wisdom, the ancient strength of trees, the grounding embrace of earth, the life-giving flow of water, the kinship of animals, the healing power of plants, and the sustaining force of community. It's in gathering with my Cedar Circle, burying my hands in soil, wearing dirt under my nails like badges of honor, and pausing to witness bees in their sacred work of pollination. It's in honoring the phases of the moon—waxing, full, waning, new—reminding us that cycles of growth, abundance, release, and rest are natural and necessary. And just like the moon, we can rest in the cycle to regenerate.

These small doses of hope aren't escapes from reality but vital practices that replenish our capacity to face it. By tending to these connections, we nurture the resilience needed for the long work of justice and healing.
Join me as we discover how these seemingly small medicines might be exactly what we need to keep our hearts open and our spirits strong in times that demand nothing less.
What sustains you? I'd love to hear your small doses of hope.
You Are Worth Knowing

Angie
